I know, I only should post one photo per entry but I can't help to decide between those two pictures. In winter time before Christmas Eve, everything is decorated for Christmas and we have a nice Christmas market around the castle. The first photo is taken there from the top of the castle wall. The second photo shows a part of christmas decoration in the city.

It's a newspaper telling that "'Bushism' will be over soon". I'm so happy for the whole united states that they voted for Obama to become the next president!

my new hamster

Not exactly about Saarbruecken but it shows you a very small part of it ;).

That's my new hamster. I just love hamsters and I have three of them. Don't worry, they are in seperate cages and I care very much.

The local animal rescue center has my number for the case of homeless hamsters. And this week they called me and asked if I can take this little cutie.
I was shocked when I saw him because the old owners didn't treat him well :(.
It's so horrible that most people put their hamsters in way too small cages and make so much mistakes in hamster keeping.
Before you ask: It's still a baby and he doesn't have a name yet.

I didn't took this in Saarbruecken, I took this in Neunkirchen. I was desperate to post a night picture for "N" and because it's always already dark when I arrive in my hometown I decided to post a photograph of Neunkirchen. You can see a VERY small church. A rich enterpricer, Carl Stumm, built it for privacy in the 19th century.

... and this week I decided to show you a photo inside a train. I take the train every day to get to work because I work in a town that's a 30 minutes drive away from my hometown.
And that's what German regional trains look like. Nice red with deep blue seats :)

it's Odd Shot Monday time and this is my odd shot. It's a shop window and there is an extremely small dress as you can see. It's no joke. It's a real dress and you can buy it. It's meant as a real size and it's meant for normal people. Maybe the designer thinks such extreme small people would be healthy. Primory school girls are bigger than this dress...
fashion is so horrible!!

Some kids wrote this with chalk on the street. It says "Do you want to play with me at my home tomorrow?" in the regional dialect and with a very bad spelling. The other kid can check for "yes" or "no". Cute! ^^

It's Friday night but I still post this for Saturday.
Today I post an old photo. I took this one last fall. The last weeks were very special and many things changed since I took this photograph. I lost many friendships, got new ones, got a new boyfriends, I finished school and got a (kind of a) job as a photographer, I lost 4 hamsters and one cat and got 3 new hamsters and 3 hamster babies who were born here in my room, tomorrow maybe I'll get another cat and one more hamster, yesterday I got a new SLR camera...
and that are only a few things of the whole lot that has changed. And finally I canged too, just as this leaf did.
Maybe you might are looking forward to see here more photographs in a better quality when I tried out the new cam!

I really like this shop and it's the only shop in the city where I get jeans that really fit me well - and they're very cheap, too! And to find fitting jeans is a problem for most woman. That's because I really like this shop.

this is my 100th post here and for that reason you get a photograph of the girl behind this blog (or at least a photo of my shadow, standing on the Westspange (bridge) at dusk) ;)

That is what I miss right now. I took this photograph about one or two weeks ago and since this photo we have an absolutely perfect blue sky and warm temperatures. This is great and it's cool because you can be outdoors all the time but there are so much pollen in the air right now so it's hard for allergic persons :(. It's the first time I suffer from a little hay fever and so I wish there was rain again for one day.

There are many people, mostly youths, who spray the last numbers of their place's postal code they live in on walls, houses or signs. It seems a popular thing among youths to show off where they belong to and sometimes they start to "battle" people from another postal code area. "117" belongs to Old-Saarbrücken, where I found this street sign and the smearing on it.
